Automating warehouse inventory inspection with drones. Developing vision AI systems to extract label information from drone-captured images in warehouse environments. Also building perception systems for safe autonomous drone navigation.
Built RoundPic, a 360° panoramic camera app from the ground up. Led a team of 5 engineers to grow our customer base 3x in just 2 months. The core challenge was creating seamless panoramas using GAN-based inpainting—turning the "ugly seams" problem into a solved one.
Directed technical strategy for AI-powered infrastructure inspection. Our VODA system detects building cracks at 0.01mm precision using drone imagery. Represented the company at CES 2023 in Las Vegas, showcasing our drone-based crack detection technology.
Developed real-time traffic monitoring AI for smart city infrastructure. Built detection pipelines using YOLO and DeepSORT, achieving 98% accuracy on multi-CCTV feeds. This research led to 2 international publications.
Contributing to the AI developer ecosystem in Korea through mentoring, content creation, and community building.
